The OLD THINGS FOR A NEW LIFE project will develop an initiative, driven and developed by and for youth, which contributes to improving Europe and to fostering the active and inclusive participation of young people. The project is born with the aim of raising awareness and taking action against the effects of the ‘fast fashion’ model and with the aim of promoting circular economy. Main objectives of the project: 1. To provide young people (especially youth with fewer opportunities) with opportunities to get involved and learn to participate in civic society, also facilitating dialogue with policy makers that affect youth, seeking a positive impact on policies that are committed to sustainability and the circular economy. 2. Raise awareness of the problems of the textile industry and promote alternatives to mass consumption of clothing. 3. To promote the circular economy. 4. To stimulate creativity and skills development.
