The Youth Activism for Nonviolent Action (YOUTHACT) project seeks to strengthen the role of youth in political advocacy for the construction of more just, peaceful and inclusive societies. The project generates spaces for youth participation where collective priorities are identified and transformed into concrete proposals that influence public policies. To this end, it aims to empower 198 young people, especially those from groups with fewer opportunities, to lead political advocacy initiatives for social change through nonviolent action and democratic participation. To this end, training is provided in Nonviolent Action and Digital Activism, integrating community leadership, digital organization and political advocacy strategies. As a result, it seeks to promote the political participation of young people in decision-making, facilitating the dissemination of proposals in relevant institutional spaces.
