Teatro en Movimiento (Theatre in movement) is an artistic mobility and social inclusion project that provides young people with fewer opportunities a transformative cultural experience. During a journey across Europe, participants will create and perform a physical and performative theatre piece while attending international theatre and dance festivals such as the Avignon Festival (France), the Venice Biennale Danza (Italy), and Sommerszene Salzburg (Austria). They will also visit theatres and cultural centers, engaging with artists and reflecting on art and its social impact. The project addresses two key challenges: limited access to cultural experiences and artistic creation and lack of international mobility opportunities for young people with fewer resources. By providing a first structured mobility experience, Teatro en Movimiento seeks to remove economic and social barriers, enabling young participants to access and actively engage with culture as creators. The project's objectives include: - Democratizing access to culture and artistic creation, facilitating attendance at festivals and the development of a personal theatre piece. - Encouraging international mobility and personal autonomy, offering a structured and educational travel experience. - Developing personal, social, and professional skills, including leadership, teamwork, and communication. - Promoting interculturality and a sense of European belonging, fostering exchanges with artists and local communities. - Enhancing language learning through cultural immersion, encouraging the use of English, French, and Italian. - Embedding sustainability values, prioritizing train travel and responsible consumption. Through Teatro en Movimiento, young participants will strengthen their confidence, expand their perspectives, and acquire tools for their educational and professional future.
