The main objective of this project is to foster the inclusion and personal development of young people with fewer opportunities through mobility in DiscoverEU, using non-formal education methodologies within the scope of youth work. It seeks to empower participants by providing them with tools to improve their autonomy, intercultural competences and active participation in society. From a youth work perspective, this project has the following specific objectives: - To facilitate access to international mobility for young people with socio-economic, educational or geographical barriers, ensuring that they can travel and learn on equal terms with their peers. - To promote intercultural learning and active citizenship, allowing participants to develop a greater understanding of European cultural diversity and feel part of the European community. - To develop key competences such as autonomy, problem-solving, decision-making and management of personal resources, essential for their personal and professional life. - To improve the employability and future opportunities of young people by validating the skills acquired through the Youthpass certificate, facilitating their insertion into the labour market or other training programmes. - To raise awareness about sustainable mobility, promoting the use of ecological transport and the learning of responsible habits in youth tourism. - To reinforce the role of youth work in social inclusion, showing how support and mentoring can generate a real impact in the lives of young people with fewer opportunities. Through this project, it is intended that participants not only live a transformative experience, but will also become agents of change in their communities, motivating other young people to participate in European programmes and promoting values of inclusion and lifelong learning.
