To enable young people to discover the professional worlds in which they will then go on to train and then take part in the work placement programme that we coordinate for France Travail, enabling them to benefit from work placements lasting 3 to 6 months. The improvement in psychosocial, digital, linguistic and intercultural skills that we are aiming for gives them the confidence and motivation to undertake the training courses and commit themselves to their professional project thus discovered
We are applying because we are convinced that this action is the missing link in the support programmes we offer our young people. Often, the young people who are still searching for their bearings and whom we accompany for ESCs or Youth Exchanges identify an initial idea of career or interest thanks to their mobility experience, but they also want to be able to test out the professional world in question before embarking on a training. PERCA gives them this opportunity.
