Objectives

The project we propose aims to achieve multiple complementary and interconnected objectives to address current educational, social, and environmental challenges. It is primarily about strengthening intercultural understanding, developing young people's skills, and promoting active citizenship in line with European values, while raising awareness of sustainable development issues. Project Objectives First, fostering intercultural understanding and respect. This project aims to encourage sharing and discovery among young people from different cultures. Through cultural workshops, visits to emblematic sites, and common celebrations (such as July 14th), we aim to break down cultural barriers and create connections based on listening, respect, and curiosity. This intercultural dialogue will allow participants to better understand their partner's cultural specificities and broaden their perspective on the world. Next, developing participants' digital skills is one of the key objectives. We aim to support young people in acquiring skills in digital content creation. By collectively working on the production of a short film, participants will learn to use digital tools (video editing, collaborative platforms). These skills will enable them to document and showcase their experience while making them better equipped to face challenges related to employment or their future education. We will also focus on strengthening civic engagement and European values. By initiating debates on topics such as democracy, inclusion, and solidarity, we aim to inspire young people with a sense of belonging to a united Europe. Co-writing a charter of common values will serve as a concrete guide for their future commitments. Through these activities, we aspire to encourage active citizenship and shape young people who are aware of their responsibilities in a democratic society. Finally, raising awareness of environmental issues and sustainable development is a key aspect of our project. We want to mobilize young people so that they become agents of environmental change. Activities such as eco-friendly walks and workshops on waste management and biodiversity will provide them with the tools to take local action while being aware of global issues. The goal is to strengthen their ability to imagine and implement sustainable solutions. What We Aim to Achieve At the end of this project, we hope that young participants will not only have acquired specific skills but also developed values and attitudes that will stay with them in the long term. By opening up to other cultures, learning to collaborate, and engaging in collective causes, they will become more autonomous, responsible, and supportive citizens. Furthermore, we want this project to have an impact beyond the direct participants, inspiring other young people, families, and partners to engage in similar initiatives. The planned actions will also position our organization as a key player in intercultural and European exchanges while promoting popular education as a lever for social innovation. We hope to demonstrate that European values, when embodied in concrete projects, can have positive impacts on all scales: local, regional, national, and international.
