The Trilateral Youth Exchange project was initiated by the French and Georgian youngsters who met each other in France during the autumn 2024. Youngsters from mentioned organizations realize the importance of building environmental and cultural awareness as well as respect in relation to ever-increasing tourism worldwide. Our project aimed to address the demand for sustainable approaches toward practices within the tourism industry, in particular about eco-tourism. On one hand, current tourism growth internationally increases concerns about its impacts to the natural environment in forms such as over-exploitation of resources, habitat destruction, and pollution. Tourism can prove to be, on the other hand, a very powerful instrument of economic development, especially for those economies characterized by rural or underdeveloped regions. The challenge is drawing a balance between the economic benefits of tourism on one hand and negative impacts to the environment and local communities on the other. Overall, the project addressed the necessity of environmental, economic and social sustainability in the light of ever-increasing tourism in involved countries of the project participants. The project also targeted other aspects highly topical within the European context, such as the need for intercultural communication skills via creating the international project that involved faraway located countries: France (west Europe), Latvia (North Europe), Georgia (Eastern Neighbor of EU). Our Project had following objectives: 1. Raise awareness about ecotourism to promote environmental sustainability, long-term solutions for conserving, sustainable travelling and enhancing bio-cultural diversity. 2. Promote Eco-friendly practices in tourism: equip participants with information on eco-tourism principles and best practices in promoting sustainable travel within their respective communities. 3. Raise Awareness on the Social Effects of Tourism: Increase understanding on how tourism can impact host cultures, economies, and social systems. 4. Educate participants about the environmental, social and political impacts of both mass tourism and ecotourism via non-formal learning; 5. Fostering Cross-Cultural Exchange: Bringing together young people from faraway located countries. 6. Engage youth with a healthy lifestyle by ecotourism activities
