“Forest + Youth” The past, the present, the future of trees and ours ? is the title of this itinerant exchange project between two regions, one in Spain and the other in France, with a physical border and at the same time a territory of union : the Pyrenées. Thanks to this nature, the forests and the natural environment, the collaboration of two institutions with common points and complementary objectives was born. This title values the connection of young people with the natural environment that surrounds us and of which we often forget, that we compose a part. In addition, the young participants will establish other links : - Intercultural connection and education (exchange of cultures) - Connection through ICT in a healthy way - Relational link (community, participation, teamwork and active citizenship) - Personal link (emotional) The main objective is the reconnection with the environment of young people in a common space where young Europeans interact and establish relational, cultural and healthy links (sports, respect for the environment and the group ...) reflection on the possible vicissitudes created by the misuse of Information and Communication Technology. This exchange is a journey full of symbols directly related to nature and our society. The proposed methodology is based on observation, self-learning, diversity, non-formal education and the socio-affective methodology of feeling, thinking and acting. We will also work throughout the project, complementing it with non-violent communication where our own needs are taken into account as well as those of others. Through this itinerant camp, we seek to reflect on personal connections, on the environment that surrounds us and our place in it, the promotion of dialogue and multicultural encounters between young people from different backgrounds and cultures, and consequently awareness and tolerance towards other cultures and ways of life. It will be a space for the coexistence of languages, as well as a space for reflection on the carbon footprint that we generate and the actions that reduce or avoid them.
