The Back to the Roots project aimed to provide young people from Europe with the skills and resources they need to become agents of change, capable of taking action on environmental, social and intercultural issues. The main objectives were to: Develop autonomy, resilience and practical skills related to a sustainable lifestyle (SO1): healthy eating, resource management, crafts, DIY, community living. Promote intercultural openness and adaptability (SO2) through cooperation between young people of different origins and cultures, in a community-based and ecological setting. The project also sought to promote sustainable local initiatives and make mobility accessible to under-represented young people.
