The proposed project "European Floral Legends" is a results of a thorough work of the partners and young people they represent. It aims to make a positive difference in unlocking the personal potential of the participants. We aim to provide 40 young people from 5 different countries (France, Ireland, Luxembourg, Slovakia and Italy) with the opportunities for growth, self-realization and learning, as well as encourage their active participation in public life. The proposed youth exchange will create a learning environment for all the participants, uniting them around the topic of ecology, intercultural learning, as well as improving the 8 Key Competences. All the activities are planned by these young people themselves with a help of the youth workers and youth leaders in the frames of non-formal education. We have several experienced youth workers in our team, who will ensure the qualitative implementation of this exchange. Our NGO being quite newly built, already has the practical experience of European project management as an informal group first that afterwards has been registered as an association. We emphasize the importance of youth exchanges, which develop in participants creative and out-of-the-box thinking, develops all kind of competences that would be useful for their future life, if it is in applying for job, university, or simply for their life-long learning experience. As for us, as the applicant NGO, "Game Changers", we are happy to help young people develop their leadership skills and give them the opportunity to propose and implement their ideas during the project. The project will have a significant impact on local community around the city of Metz, close to which the exchange will take place, as well as Thionville, where our association is based, due to our cooperation with other NGOs in that area. The concrete outcomes of the project (such as, e.g. the videos of theatrical productions, registered during the exchange by the participants and translated into each language of the participating country) will be visible and will be disseminated widely through the social media of the participants and the partners, through the European Dissemination Platform, as well as would be used as the examples of good practice to promote Erasmus+ program.
