This project builds on the first youth exchange carried out in 2024, "Viva Italia", involving, for the most part, the same group of young people from Aix Nord. Building on the success of that initial experience, which exceeded initial expectations, this project aimed to go further in promoting youth empowerment and active participation. It also provided an opportunity to collaborate a second time with the co-facilitator of "Viva Italia", in a new context and through a new project, with a specific focus on autonomous outdoor activities and wellbeing as a tool for personal development. General Objective To address local challenges by involving a group of 14–17-year-olds facing academic difficulties, and socio-economic and geographical barriers, in a collective project based on their needs and desire for new experiences. Specific Objectives - Strengthen youth autonomy by actively involving them in the preparation, planning, and facilitation of project activities, encouraging ownership and responsibility - Develop leadership by guiding selected participants into roles of responsibility (mentorship, facilitation, activity management) - Foster group cohesion through cooperative challenges, nature-based activities, and experiential learning - Promote wellbeing and personal development through mindfulness practices, physical activities, and tools for emotional regulation - Recognize and build on individual strengths by supporting young people in identifying and developing personal skills through reflection and hands-on learning - Break down barriers to mobility by building confidence, autonomy, and cultural adaptability, enabling access to international learning opportunities - Encourage intercultural exchange - Develop language and communication skills - Foster critical thinking around cultural stereotypes - Inspire interest in international mobility and Erasmus+ opportunities - Promote sustainable and eco-friendly practices Objectives for Bregal and Aix Nord Organizations - Strengthen collaboration between international mobility and socio-cultural youth work sectors - Foster knowledge sharing and exchange of best practices among professionals - Establish long-term partnerships with organizations working with disadvantaged groups - Consolidate cooperation through a second shared youth exchange experience - Support the professional development of youth workers - Innovate within socio-educational practices - Use mobility as a “means” to develop participatory youth projects - Aix Nord: Further develop our skills, as the coordinating organization, in the overall management of Erasmus+ youth exchange projects.
