Through this project that the young people have chosen, we hope that there will be an awareness of the discrimination suffered by different communities. Thanks to this experience, they will be able to better understand the discrimination suffered and will be better equipped to face it in order to move towards a more just, inclusive and egalitarian society. In the group of young people, the majority of them have already been victims of discrimination. This intercultural exchange will be an opportunity for them to discuss this theme that borders and generations. Thus, the objectives they have defined are as follows: O1 - Raise awareness and educate in the fight against discrimination O2 - Promote intercultural exchange and cohesion between young Europeans Through these two weeks of exchange, young people will be able to deepen their knowledge on the theme and express themselves in a creative and artistic way to take hold of it. From the point of view of the practice of youth work, when we carry out youth exchanges, we want to support group projects. The process that we are implementing aims to give young people space so that they can take ownership of social issues. Each step is designed to empower young people, so that they gain confidence in themselves and their abilities. Thus, from its conception to its completion, young people are truly actors and engaged in this project. The contributions of participating in such a project go beyond those on the theme and the tools chosen. Indeed, we consider that these projects open up the field of possibilities, develop their sense of belonging to a group and to Europe, strengthen their autonomy, their psychosocial skills and their power to act.
