The HOW ARE YOUth? youth workers mobility project has two main objectives: - to develop the networks and life skills of European youth workers in order to provide better support for young people - to encourage, promote and facilitate the emergence and implementation of other ERASMUS+ Youth mobility projects, in particular youth exchanges. Since the COVID crisis, many young people are expressing unhappiness (anxiety, depression, harassment, lack of self-confidence, sleeping problems, etc.), are finding it difficult to project themselves into the future and not everyone has access to the same opportunities to open up to other cultures and experience a mobility project. Given this situation, youth workers, who often work alone or in very small teams and have little time to train and develop their networks, can lack confidence and feel powerless to support this group. This project will take the form of a visit by participants to Riom, in order to observe and exchange on their practices between professionals from different European countries working in contact with young people, to build new partnerships and to reflect together on the organisation of an exchange of young people. It will give participants the opportunity to: - discuss their practices with their peers, for many of them this will be their first experience of international cooperation and they will be able to develop their networks - acquire new tools and skills to better support young people - particularly those with fewer opportunities - in their development, their commitment, their participation and their openness to the world in general and to Europe in particular, - to collectively reflect on and design a prevention and support initiative for young people in the face of the challenges and difficulties they encounter The HOW ARE YOUth? project aims to discuss and share good practices between partners and participants, in terms of including young people and promoting their well-being at all levels. The exchange is also intended to share knowledge, skills and experience in the organisation of youth exchanges, the methodology used and the inclusion of activities that promote the well-being of young people, as well as the promotion of a safe space for all in youth exchanges, in mobility of youth workers and in everyday life. The well-being of young people will be analysed from a holistic point of view, considering social, personal, professional, emotional, physical and digital well-being, as part of the European Year of Education for Digital Citizenship, in order to contribute to better mental health. As a result of this mobility project, a youth exchange will be planned with the contribution of each partner. Given the municipality of Riom's lack of experience in organising mobility projects, a preparatory visit is planned to get to know each other so that we can work better together, build the programme, anticipate difficulties and obstacles and adjust the programme as closely as possible to the group's needs.
