Objectives

The cLever project aims to provide youth workers with innovative tools to promote tolerance, acceptance, and inclusion. It seeks to address systemic discrimination faced by minorities (LGBTQIA+ people, women, racialized individuals, and young people in precarious situations) by strengthening the skills of youth work professionals. Project objectives in the field of youth work: Train youth workers so they can identify, prevent, and respond to discrimination in their professional contexts. Promote an intersectional approach, integrating issues related to gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, and socio-economic conditions. Create a European exchange network, where professionals can share experiences, best practices, and non-formal education methodologies. Develop adapted educational tools, enabling young people to grow in a more inclusive and supportive environment. Strengthen the impact of participating organizations, by improving the quality of their interventions and enhancing their ability to act against discrimination. The project’s approach is based on popular education, participatory methodologies, and artistic practices to encourage expression and empowerment among young people. By fostering exchanges between youth workers from different countries and implementing tailored training sessions, cLever contributes to a better understanding of systemic oppression and the development of a more inclusive work environment. Its impact extends beyond the direct participants, also benefiting the young people they support, thus creating safer and more welcoming spaces at both local and European levels.
