Our organizations are dedicated to supporting and informing young people; together, we develop empowering initiatives that foster social cohesion, civic engagement, health, access to culture, and successful socio-professional pathways. The Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) sector comprises a multitude of organizations working toward a fairer society through shared-governance projects, while offering sustainable, locally-based jobs that cannot be outsourced. In light of this, URHAJ NA and CRIJ NA sought to collaborate on a joint project involving young people from both networks, aiming to make the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) a tangible and meaningful concept for them. The project was designed to allow young people to engage in various activities to discover and gain a deeper understanding of the SSE, specifically: - participating in the creation and facilitation of an educational game; - taking part in exchange activities and discovering national and European SSE organizations in the context of the 2025 World Forum on the Social and Solidarity Economy. Our primary objectives were: - to mobilize young people around the values of the SSE and popular education; - to enable young people to develop their skills and strengthen their commitment, while fostering inclusivity within our organizations by offering participation opportunities to vulnerable youth or those facing barriers to access; - to create a "critical atlas" that goes beyond merely identifying existing initiatives to understanding their underlying mechanisms, thereby paving the way for future sustainable partnerships tailored to both our networks.
