CONNECT-R is an innovative European project that aims to connect rural youth to democratic and civic spaces through structured dialogue and international cooperation. Positioned at the intersection of two major dynamics – the development of vocational training and the active participation of rural youth – it builds on successful experiences to strengthen young people's engagement in European and local debates. The main objective is to create structured dialogue spaces, where young people and policymakers engage in discussions about the challenges and opportunities of rural areas. Through a participatory and cross-sectoral approach, the project enables young people to voice their opinions, co-create recommendations and influence public policies. With the support of European partners, CONNECT-R promotes the emergence of a generation of engaged young leaders, capable of bringing new dynamics to their territories and ensuring greater representation of rural areas in European institutions
