MED-EU Youth implements : - An introductory program in active citizenship and youth participation - Debates to exchange views on common social and political issues facing young people in France, Italy and Spain, at local, national and European levels - A proposals-building process: “Engagement and civic participation of European -Mediterranean young people”, with decision-makers It pursues the following objectives: - Support young people in exercising active citizenship, via an introductory program in civic participation, including a simulated parliamentary session of the European Parliament - Develop proposals to promote the democratic participation of young people, as a contribution to youth policies - Facilitate intercultural encounters and openness through a cycle of European meetings, debates and training events - Raise awareness of active European citizenship - Support peer-to-peer training for young people to run and lead debates
