The project DeSIdeas aims to strengthen youth political and civic participation by enabling them to see international solidarity (IS) as a political issue rooted in their local realities. It pursues a dual objective: repositioning IS in the public debate ahead of the presidential elections and equipping young people to structure and advocate for their demands. By combining institutional advocacy and public mobilization, it will help them develop transferable skills and take action at different levels. Through a 360° approach—mixing local actions, engagement with decision-makers, and public awareness—the project breaks down barriers, making IS more accessible beyond expert circles. It will legitimize youth voices, establish IS as a political priority, and strengthen the territorial and national presence of the E&D network.
