With this project, we want to improve adult education methods, empower our counselors and educators through the development of supervisory competencies, and improve the way we communicate with the public using visual tools. Also, through a job-shadowing, we plan to learn from successful examples of supporting rainbow families and advocating for their rights. Our goal is to empower the community, increase the visibility of LGBTIQ+ families, and improve our support programs.
We have applied for this project to improve our capacities for adult education and psychological support to LGBTIQ+ individuals and families. The Croatian socio-political context brings challenges in the legal protection and social inclusion of rainbow families, which is why we want to learn from international examples of good practices. With this project, we strengthen the competencies of our educators and counselors and improve the quality of support we provide to the community.
