The overall goal of the project was to empower rural youth to actively participate in combating climate change and promoting sustainable development within their communities. The specific objectives were: To improve young people's knowledge and understanding of the specific impacts of climate change on rural communities and of possible solutions adapted to the local context. To develop practical skills among young people for planning and implementing climate actions in rural areas, including communication skills, project planning, and community mobilization. To encourage intercultural exchange and cooperation among young people from different European rural regions in order to develop innovative approaches to climate challenges. From the perspective of youth work practice, the project used participatory methods and interactive activities to ensure active involvement and personal development of participants. Through the exchange, young people developed key competences defined within the Erasmus+ programme, including personal and social competences, civic competences, and entrepreneurial skills.
