The project aims to provide local young people with a safe environment in which to develop their skills, self-awareness and social engagement through experiential and educational programmes, so that they can become active citizens who can think independently and critically and express their opinions effectively. By empowering participation, young people gain self-confidence and learn how to participate in decision-making processes. In the long term, the project contributes to the mental and community development of young people, while reducing the risk of marginalisation and gaining recognition from other sections of society. The project will use non-formal methods to teach participants about human rights, democratic processes and voting. The project also aims to develop young people's digital literacy and debating skills, so that they can inform, analyse and make informed decisions independently.
