The aim of the project is to provide theoretical and practical training in legal, advocacy, facilitation and experiential pedagogical methods to 12 young volunteers from segregated micro-communities, furthermore to raise awareness, inform and educate other young people from four Hungarian segregated Roma settlements using informal-nonformal experiential pedagogical methods by the trained facilitators. By developing personal skills and starting a dialogue with decision-makers, our aim is to enable participants to assess their talents and to rethink their life paths in order to achieve a more conscious and successful social integration. By implementing skills development in an inclusive way and engaging in dialogue with members of the majority society, the project will raise awareness of the needs of people living in deprivation and increase social cohesion free from hatred, racism, discrimination and violence.
