By implementing the project, we aim to promote the personal and social development of young people with fewer opportunities, especially those with disabilities, through the tools of youth work. Through international travel and cultural exchange programs, they can gain experiences that contribute to their becoming more independent, confident and open to the world. From the point of view of youth work practice, the objectives of the project are: Personal development: Developing young people's self-awareness, self-confidence and independence. During the trip, they will face challenges, solve problems and make decisions, which will strengthen their self-confidence and sense of responsibility. Developing social skills: Developing young people's communication and relationship-building skills. During group travel, they will learn to cooperate, compromise and rely on each other. Developing intercultural competences: Developing young people's openness, tolerance and acceptance of other cultures. During their travels, they will get to know different cultures and learn to respect otherness. Educating for active citizenship: Strengthening young people's European identity and sense of citizenship. During the trip, they will learn about the values and functioning of the European Union and learn how to be active participants in social life. Promoting equal opportunities: Promoting the social inclusion of young people with disabilities. The project will provide them with the opportunity to participate in international mobility in the same way as their non-disabled peers. Informal and non-formal learning: Developing young people's learning motivation and learning skills. During their travels, they will gain a lot of new knowledge and experience, which will motivate them to further learning. During the implementation of the project, FODISZ will apply the principles and methods of youth work. Young people will actively participate in the planning, implementation and evaluation of the project. The escorts and mentors support the young people in the learning process and help them in their personal development. The activities of the project are experience-based and allow young people to put the acquired knowledge and skills into practice.
