Our project supports young people from Tiszaluc who have fewer opportunities and have not had the chance to travel abroad before. The grant opportunity has opened the way for these young people to gain new experiences and leave their familiar environment. They can explore several European countries in a learning process. The aim of the project is to give the young people involved experiences and opportunities to get to know the different countries of Europe, while developing their language skills and acquiring a wide range of knowledge. This will help them to catch up with their peers who do not face similar disadvantages. They will also discover places on their travels that will reinforce their sense of active citizenship, foster their commitment to sustainability and encourage them to put it into practice. Through the programme, young people will learn about other cultures and customs, which they can use in their own communities when they return home. The project also aims to show that even a short trip abroad can bring many benefits, and that there are many opportunities for young people to take advantage of. And Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps programmes are excellent tools to seize these opportunities.
