The primary objective of this project is to enhance staff professional development through job shadowing, strengthen the partnership with IES Pasqual Calbo i Caldés, and foster international exchange. The project also aims to offer Monaghan Institute students valuable work placement opportunities in Menorca, enriching future exchanges between our institutions. Ultimately, it will expand Erasmus+ opportunities for both staff and students at both institutions, promoting global learning experiences
On May 15, 2024, IES Pasqual Calbo i Caldés in Menorca contacted Monaghan Institute to explore Erasmus+ collaboration. They identified mutual interests in Business Administration, Agriculture, Electricity, Welding, and Construction. Two teachers from Menorca will job shadow our Business Studies department in March 2025. This partnership aims to expand professional development opportunities, strengthening ties and fostering international exchange and learning in the near future.
