Objectives

Our Erasmus Accreditation project aimed to enhance opportunities for young people and youth workers through meaningful European and international engagement. We sought to provide experiences that would broaden horizons, increase confidence, promote inclusion and strengthen participants' sense of belonging within a wider European community. Our first objective was to enhance young people's opportunities through European and international engagement. We wanted young people from Dublin's inner city to experience different cultures, build international friendships and develop the confidence to participate more actively in society, education, employment and future European opportunities. Our second objective was to empower young people to become agents of positive change within their communities. Through intercultural learning, discussions on mental health, inclusion and diversity, we aimed to increase understanding, challenge stereotypes and encourage young people to become advocates for positive change and active citizenship. Our third objective was to strengthen the skills, knowledge and international networks of our youth workers and organisation. By engaging in European cooperation and learning from innovative practices in other countries, we aimed to improve the quality of our youth work, develop new partnerships and create sustainable opportunities for future mobility projects. The project aimed to build more confident, inclusive and engaged young people while strengthening our organisation's capacity to deliver high-quality European youth work.
