WSTCYS supports young people from 10 through to 24. When they finish school or reach 18 it is often a time of transition for young people. For those from areas of disadvantage, the possibilities of travel, education, and employment are often limited.This project aims to show young people the opportunities and possibilities that are available to them as EU Citizens. To teach them about their own resilience and life choices. The project aims to Increase autonomy in each participant Increase the skillset of young people in areas of communication, planning, critical thinking and creativity Build relationships that are built on trust, cohesion, and achievement Showcase to the community that these opportunities are possible and the pathways to apply for them Create a safe space for young people to develop their emotional intelligence and communication Create a pathway to encourage young people to stay engaged in youth services Improve the cultural awareness of the group Increased numeracy and literacy skills through planning, budgeting, and evaluation Young people have an increased awareness of climate action and sustainability in Travel Young people are educated and aware of further programmes they can avail of such as ESC, Solidarity Projects or further engagement in training or Youth exchanges through WSTCYS.
