The project aims at boosting the linguistic skill in one or more foreign languages, as well as at the growing of the intercultural competence that most of them haven’t had the chance to develop, due to social and economic reasons. It aims at boosting the practical application of knowledge as for STEM is concerned. In particular, Computing, Science, Biology, Biotechnology. It also intends to give the small number of female students the opportunity to face different professional settings.
ITCG Fermi is a Secondary School, with Economics, Computing and Agrarian fields. As low motivated students are often the ones who attend these fields of studies, it is therefore very important to equip them with opportunities for linguistic and professional development, to allow them to get higher job placement. It is also very important to focus on inclusion for students with special educational needs, quite a few when it comes to these fields of studies, and female students less than male.
