The objective of the ASR and its associated is to promote the learning of new skills for its members' representatives, its trainers and post-graduates from vocational education and training institutions in the fields of sustainable agriculture, environmental protection and the social economy in rural areas. ASR intends to support greater internationalisation of its organisation with other European partners and to improve the quality of the vocational training courses offered.
After Covid19 in 2022, the Assembly of Members restarted transnational activities with NRRP calls, participation in an Erasmus KA220 ADU, hosting students with KA1 VET. At the last meeting in 2024, it was decided to promote a new impetus for internationalisation by involving associated public bodies and schools in this project that would retrain trainers, promote the employability of students after graduation, and expand the ASR's networks with European partners.
