Many learners will gain specialised work and school experience in the fields of biotechnology/healthcare and biotechnology/nutrition. Learners with fewer opportunities are supported. Improvement in standard German and English will be facilitated. The sustainable sense of responsibility, the digital and intercultural competences, the European democratic awareness of the learners and teachers will increase.
All learners, including those with fewer opportunities, should gain experience in special host organisations abroad. So far, only a few have had this opportunity. The FOS now has more contacts with reliable host organisations and helps to overcome the financial, bureaucratic, personal and social hurdles faced by learners. The aim is to improve their vocational, linguistic, green, social, digital, intercultural and democratic skills. Teachers can improve their teaching.
