The most urgent objectives the candidate institution wants to acheive are: -to extend the overview of methodologies and practices in sustainable and precision agriculture in an international context; -to expand know-how in cutting-edge agricultural machineries; -to foster practice in English as L2 -to motivate special needs learners and give tools for the labour market -to promote trasversal key competences for life and employability -to give more cutting edge teaching metodologies to teachers
The candidate institution is more than 100 years old.It is composed of a traditional Agricultural course and more recent Health Biotechnology and Environmental Biotechnology courses. Despite the consideration it has in our area, and the facilities it offers to learners, it needs to increase its enrolments, becoming more attractive for future newcomers,more open to challenges that come from other countries, the high tech area, more appealing for the local and global labour market,more inclusive.
