The Just Green project aimed to empower young people from Italy, Poland, and Bulgaria, making them more aware and active in environmental sustainability, climate challenges, and responsible civic participation. Through the project, we aimed to create an international learning space where participants could exchange views on how our societies impact the environment and how young people can contribute to positive change in their communities. The main objectives were to increase participants' knowledge of European environmental and social policies, strengthen their critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills, and provide them with practical tools based on non-formal education. The project also aimed to encourage young people to reflect on their daily choices, sustainable lifestyles, the circular economy, waste reduction, and local environmental actions. From a youth work perspective, the project supported young people in developing self-confidence, teamwork, intercultural dialogue, and active citizenship. For many participants, this was their first Erasmus+ experience, so the project also helped them discover European opportunities for young people and understand the added value of international cooperation. Overall, Just Green sought to transform environmental awareness into a concrete motivation for action, encouraging participants to become more responsible citizens and advocates for sustainability in their local communities.
