Through the project "Soulful Expression: Unveiling Your Inner Artist," we aim to enhance youth well-being by integrating artistic expression and mindfulness into youth work. With 74.6% of respondents to our survey for this project (annexe) having experienced mental health challenges, our project provides a crucial, accessible space for them to explore their emotions and build resilience through art. The project seeks to: - Promote mental health awareness by reducing stigma and encouraging self-expression through creative methods. - Improve emotional resilience by providing tools for stress relief, emotional processing, and self-discovery. - Foster social inclusion and peer support by creating a safe space for young people to share experiences and connect. - Develop artistic and creative skills to empower youth with non-verbal tools for communication and self-expression. - Encourage intercultural dialogue by using art to explore cultural identities and promote mutual understanding. - Equip youth workers with innovative methods to integrate arts-based approaches into mental health support. The project will strengthen youth work by introducing holistic, practice-based methodologies, enhancing creativity in non-formal education, and fostering a supportive, open environment where young people can develop personally and socially. Through these objectives, the project will leave a lasting impact, both on participants and in youth work practices, by promoting art as a universal tool for empowerment and well-being.
