Objectives

BY HAND is a project that aims to develop the empowerment of young people through the development of key competences, practical skills and emotional awareness. Using land art and other forms of creative expression, participants will explore their potential, improving self-esteem and teamwork skills, also thanks to non-formal and participatory learning methods, which promote intercultural dialogue and the inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities. The project also wants to promote ecological and sustainable behaviors, raising awareness among young people of respect for the environment, through contact with horses and their ecosystem, promoting a deep connection with nature and inspiring attitudes of responsibility towards the planet. BY HAND aims to achieve the following objectives: - Develop key skills, abilities and emotional awareness of young people as a tool for empowerment, through creative, manual and non-formal activities, using land art as an artistic form - Create a safe and inclusive environment for young people with fewer opportunities, providing them with educational experiences that increase self-confidence and foster socialization - Raise awareness among young people on ecological and environmentally friendly behaviors, creating a connection with horses and their ecosystem. Land art correlates art and nature and is capable of stimulating concentration, calm and awareness. Similarly, horses and their care can help reduce stress and improve basic cognitive, emotional and relational abilities defined as life skills. The project aims to address the deep and often neglected and unrevealed needs of young people, offering them practical tools, meaningful experiences and paths of personal and collective growth through creative, manual and sustainable methods.
