We want to help young people navigate sustainability, both through their actions and by addressing the emotions that come with climate awareness. Eco-anxiety is real, and transforming concern into purpose is key to long-term engagement. This project is based on the belief that sustainability doesn’t require a handful of perfect environmentalists, but rather entire communities making small, consistent changes that collectively create a big impact. That’s why we aim to drive grassroots change by empowering young people to take an active role in building a more sustainable future. Through non-formal education, peer learning, and hands-on experiences, we help them adopt environmentally responsible habits, make meaningful changes in their daily lives, inspire their communities, and create a lasting positive impact on the planet for present and future generations. Recognizing the power of social media in shaping behaviors, we want to harness its influence to spread sustainable practices beyond just the participants of this project. To achieve this, our project focuses on the following objectives: - Empower young people with skills and confidence to integrate sustainability into their daily lives. - Turn eco-anxiety into resilience and purpose through reflection, mindfulness, research, and action. - Encourage intercultural exchange by exploring global sustainability practices and developing adaptable solutions. - Leverage social media to make sustainability accessible, engaging, and widespread. By combining non-formal education, experiential learning, and digital advocacy, this project ensures that young people not only gain knowledge but also develop the motivation and capacity to drive sustainable change beyond the exchange.
