The main objective of the Art is Calling project is to offer a concrete opportunity for international mobility and artistic expression to young people who have not had many opportunities to express themselves and discuss this, until now. The project wants to create the conditions for the young participants to discuss their problems in an international, empathetic, open, healthy and non-judgmental environment, leading these young people to feel more aware, more serene, less alone European citizens. Some barriers can keep young people away or not encourage them to approach the world of art. However, frequenting an environment rich in artistic stimuli could benefit the psycho-social health of young people who live in conditions of social exclusion. Some young people encounter strong barriers in approaching the world of art, such as economic obstacles, linked to a difficult and/or interrupted school process and some mild disorders related to mental health (periods of anxiety, social anxiety, anxiety, depression, unrecognized learning difficulties, ADHD, mild autism spectrum, etc.) With the Art is Calling project we want to accompany a group of young people to discover the pleasure of making and seeing art. The main objective of this project is to bring groups of young people closer to the world of art, through the experience and enjoyment of art to feel more and more understood, free to express themselves and to be who they want.
