The project was created with the aim of promoting greater awareness of gender equality and shared responsibility in domestic and caregiving tasks by involving young people from Italy, Spain, Türkiye, and North Macedonia in an intercultural learning experience based on non-formal education. Through participatory activities, debates, simulations, group work, and reflection sessions, participants had the opportunity to compare the different realities of the partner countries, critically analyze gender stereotypes, and reflect on their impact on everyday life. The project contributed to strengthening young people's active participation, with particular attention to the empowerment of young women, while promoting among all participants a culture based on respect, equal opportunities, and shared responsibility. At the same time, it fostered the development of transversal competences such as critical thinking, intercultural communication, teamwork, empathy, and active citizenship, which were subsequently recognized through the Youthpass process. At the same time, cooperation among the partner organizations enabled the exchange of methodologies and good practices, strengthening a network of collaboration focused on developing future Erasmus+ initiatives dedicated to inclusion, youth participation, and the promotion of gender equality. This experience laid the foundations for a lasting impact on both the participants and the organizations involved, reinforcing their role in promoting more inclusive and participatory communities.
