Objectives

PLANT R-evolution aimed to create an international learning space where young people from different European countries could critically explore topics related to environmental sustainability, food systems, antispeciesism, and social justice. Through non-formal education and experiential learning, the project supported participants in developing personal, social, and civic competences, fostering active participation, intercultural dialogue, and awareness of how everyday choices impact the environment and other living beings. The main objectives included raising awareness about sustainable consumption and production patterns, encouraging critical reflection on food systems, promoting empathy and responsibility towards animals and the environment, and strengthening young people’s competences in active citizenship and social participation. The project also aimed to provide replicable educational tools for youth workers and organisations, contributing to the dissemination of sustainable and inclusive practices in participants’ local contexts.
