Through the implementation of the project, we aim to achieve several objectives focused on developing the skills of young participants and promoting social and intercultural inclusion. We want young people to freely express themselves and feel part of a community, using dance and music as vehicles of expression and connection with others. The non-formal learning approach will allow participants to acquire new skills and improve existing ones, providing them with concrete tools for their personal and professional future. The main objectives of the project are: 1-Promoting social inclusion through dance and music: Dance and music are universal tools that allow participants to express themselves, overcome language and social barriers, and create connections with others. The goal is to foster the social inclusion of young people from disadvantaged or marginalized backgrounds, creating a safe space where they can feel welcomed, valued, and part of a group. This process will help reduce isolation and build a sense of belonging. 2-Developing intercultural competences: With participants from different cultural backgrounds, the project aims to facilitate intercultural dialogue and mutual understanding. Through collaborative activities and exchanges of ideas, young people will acquire intercultural competences such as the ability to adapt to new cultures, respect for differences, and tolerance. This will be crucial in helping them navigate an increasingly globalized world, where the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds is essential. 3-Fostering non-formal learning and the development of transversal skills: Through group workshops, participants will engage in hands-on and non-formal learning that will develop transversal skills such as leadership, problem-solving, communication, and creativity. This practical approach is particularly effective in a youth context, as it stimulates learning through doing, rather than solely learning theoretical concepts. 4-Enhancing active participation and a sense of European citizenship: The project aims to encourage participants to reflect on their role as active citizens, not only in their local communities but also within a broader European dimension. Through interactions with young people from other countries, awareness of European values such as cultural diversity and transnational cooperation will be strengthened. This will contribute to developing a greater sense of social responsibility and a desire to participate in future projects that have a positive social impact. 5-Supporting participants' personal growth: The project will provide young people with a unique opportunity to challenge themselves in new and stimulating contexts, helping them grow both personally and socially. Through creative and group activities, they will be able to improve their self-management, empathy, and collaboration skills. These abilities will make them more self-confident and better equipped to face future challenges. 6-Creating a lasting impact in local communities: In addition to providing direct benefits to participants, the project aims to create a positive impact in local communities through dissemination events and collaborations with schools and associations. By actively involving the communities, we will ensure that the values of inclusion and diversity promoted during the project continue to spread even after its conclusion. The primary goal of the project is to use dance and music to stimulate social inclusion, intercultural dialogue, and active participation, providing young people with the tools to grow as individuals and active members of society. The project aims to create an environment where non-formal learning and intercultural exchange foster personal and community growth, with a lasting impact even beyond the end of the activities.
