Objectives

The Into the Wild project aims to create an immersive educational experience that allows young participants to reconnect with nature, develop transversal skills, and strengthen their sense of community. Through a journey based on the elements air, water, earth, and fire, the project promotes personal growth, social inclusion, and environmental awareness, offering a concrete opportunity for experiential learning. Thanks to the feedback received during the review phase, we have worked to improve the project and enhance its impact, making activities more structured and methodologies more effective in promoting Erasmus+ key competences. One of the main tools will be the Youthpass, which will guide participants in their daily reflection on learning, enabling them to monitor their progress in the eight key competences. Main project objectives through natural elements Personal development and self-awareness (AIR) Participants will work on self-confidence, stress management, and emotional intelligence through moments of exploration, mindful breathing, and guided reflection. → Personal, social, and learning-to-learn competence Adaptability and problem-solving (WATER) Engaging in activities that require flexibility, resilience, and collaboration, such as trust-building exercises and group challenges in a natural setting. → Entrepreneurship competence and citizenship competence Teamwork and community building (EARTH) Constructing shared spaces using natural materials through the "Build Your Place" activity, leaving a tangible legacy for the local community and future exchanges. → Citizenship competence and literacy competence Leadership and shared responsibility (FIRE) Managing the communal fire as a symbol of collective responsibility and care for shared resources, through designated roles and moments of collective storytelling. → Entrepreneurship competence and cultural awareness and expression competence Beyond the specific objectives linked to natural elements, the project also aims to: Improve intercultural and linguistic communication through interactions with young people from different countries, with a particular focus on the English language. → Multilingual competence Promote social inclusion by ensuring equal participation opportunities for young people with fewer opportunities. → Citizenship competence Increase environmental awareness and sustainability through daily practices such as waste reduction, responsible resource use, and direct contact with nature. → Mathematical, scientific, and engineering competence (STEM) The Into the Wild project is not just a temporary experience but a journey that will allow participants to carry forward what they have learned into their communities, careers, and personal lives. By working on these skills in an experiential way, the project will help shape young people who are more aware, responsible, and active in their local and international environments.
