The "Green Bridges" project is created in response to urgent environmental issues faced in Italy, Poland, and Serbia. Each country is burdened by challenges such as environmental degradation, air pollution, and ineffective waste management, which have direct impacts on the health and well-being of local communities. In particular, young people live in an environment where environmental awareness is lacking, and education on how to tackle ecological challenges is limited. Therefore, the need to raise awareness among the new generations and develop their sustainability skills is a central goal, enabling them to become active agents of change. Project objectives: - Strengthen knowledge and skills in environmental education by promoting responsible behaviors towards nature and the protection of natural resources. - Raise environmental awareness among young people by stimulating their active participation in protecting the land and reducing their daily environmental impact. - Enhance skills on climate change and the adoption of eco-sustainable practices to prepare young people for the environmental challenges of the future. - Promote intercultural dialogue and social participation for environmental care by creating opportunities for exchange and collaboration between young people from diverse backgrounds. - Strengthen linguistic and transversal skills through international exchange activities to foster personal growth and the acquisition of global competencies. - Stimulate social inclusion by involving young people from diverse cultural and social backgrounds, and reinforce the culture of non-discrimination through intercultural exchange and dialogue.
