Objectives

The project aims to promote social inclusion, active citizenship, and personal development among young people, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, through sports, craftsmanship, and non-formal education. By bringing together participants from Italy, Turkey, and Spain, the initiative will create an environment where young people can break down cultural barriers, strengthen their sense of belonging to the community, and develop key competencies for their personal and professional growth. Objectives and needs addressed The project responds to the challenges faced by young people, especially migrants and those with fewer opportunities, who often experience social exclusion, economic difficulties, and limited access to structured educational and recreational activities. By using sports as a tool for inclusion, craftsmanship as a means of self-expression, and active citizenship to develop social responsibility, the project will help young people enhance their self-confidence, teamwork, creativity, and leadership skills. Specifically, the project aims to: -Promote inclusion and break down social and cultural barriers, creating a space for exchange and collaboration among young people from diverse backgrounds. - Strengthen practical and social skills through sports activities and creative workshops, allowing participants to apply them in their daily lives. - Encourage active citizenship and community engagement, raising awareness among young people about environmental issues, social responsibility, and their role in society. - Support personal development and employability, providing participants with tools to improve their communication, problem-solving, and adaptability skills. Methods and Activities The project will be based on a non-formal education approach, enabling participants to learn through experience in an interactive and engaging way, fostering collaboration, creativity, and self-reflection. One of the key components will be inclusive sports, with adaptive football tournaments and team challenges designed to develop not only athletic abilities but also values such as cooperation, fair play, and self-confidence. Physical activity will be used as a tool for integration and personal growth, offering participants the opportunity to experience play as a moment of exchange and connection. At the same time, participants will have the opportunity to express themselves through creative workshops, where they will learn craftsmanship techniques and create symbolic objects representing their cultural identity and intercultural dialogue. Each day will be enriched by reflection sessions, essential moments where participants can process their experiences. Tools like Youthpass and storytelling will help them recognize their progress, value their acquired skills, and connect their learning journey to their personal growth. The project will culminate in a final event open to the community, where participants will present their experiences and project outcomes, creating a bridge between the project and the local community to ensure a lasting impact. Expected Results and Impact This project will provide young people with a transformative experience, increasing their self-esteem, communication skills, and ability to collaborate in multicultural environments. Through hands-on activities, participants will develop greater awareness of their strengths and potential, acquiring useful tools for their personal and professional future. By the end of the project, we expect that: At least 85% of participants will report an increased sense of belonging and confidence in interacting with people from different cultural backgrounds. 70% of participants will express greater motivation to engage in youth activities and volunteer programs in their communities. All participants will complete the Youthpass certificate, demonstrating the skills acquired in teamwork, leadership, and intercultural communication. At least 10 participants will become project ambassadors, organizing follow-up activities in their home communities. Beyond the direct participants, the project will have a broader impact, creating a network of organizations, youth workers, and local and international stakeholders committed to promoting inclusion through sports and creative expression. The materials produced, including videos, guides, and digital content, will be widely shared online, allowing the developed methodologies to be replicated. Through an approach that combines experiential learning, peer exchange, and community involvement, the project will not only strengthen the skills of young participants but will also have a long-term impact on their personal growth and active role in society.
