Objectives

The Views on the world project aims to promote intercultural dialogue, social inclusion, and active European citizenship among young people from Italy, Spain, and Turkey through non-formal education methods. The project addresses the need to expand youth mobility opportunities, particularly for those living in rural and disadvantaged areas with limited access to intercultural experiences and European programs. The lack of such opportunities contributes to social isolation, low awareness of European values, and reduced civic and community engagement. General Objective The project’s general objective is to strengthen young people’s intercultural competencies, reinforce their sense of European identity, and encourage active participation in society through a learning process based on non-formal education methodologies. Specific Objectives - Encourage intercultural dialogue and reduce stereotypes through experiential activities that allow young people to engage with and discover different cultures. - Promote the inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities, ensuring an accessible and stimulating learning environment that values cultural diversity. - Develop key and transversal competences, such as communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and creativity, through non-formal activities like storytelling, artistic expression, and experiential workshops. - Increase awareness of opportunities offered by European programs, encouraging participants to engage in future mobility experiences such as Erasmus+. - Strengthen the connection between young people and their communities, stimulating the application of acquired skills in local contexts and promoting active citizenship. The project aims to equip young people with concrete tools to become more aware, motivated, and engaged citizens, fostering a culture of openness, respect, and collaboration at the European level.
