The primary goal of implementing the project is to combat hate speech and discrimination in diverse communities across Europe by fostering inclusion, empathy, and intercultural understanding among young people. From the perspective of youth work practice, the project aims to empower participants with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to address these issues effectively in their local contexts. Specifically, the objectives include: Raising awareness: Educating young people about the root causes and manifestations of hate speech and discrimination, particularly as they affect vulnerable populations such as immigrants, women, and LGBTQ+ communities. Developing soft skills: Enhancing participants' critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities through interactive workshops, team-building exercises, and real-world scenario training. Promoting inclusion: Encouraging dialogue and collaboration between different cultural, ethnic, and social groups to break down stereotypes and build cohesive communities. Empowering youth as agents of change: Equipping young people with practical strategies and resources (e.g., the "Manual of Colors" ) to lead initiatives against hate speech and discrimination in their own communities. Strengthening european citizenship: Highlighting the role of the European Union in promoting equality and human rights while inspiring youth to take an active part in shaping inclusive societies. These objectives align with youth work practices that prioritize empowerment, participation, and social transformation, ensuring that participants not only learn but also act as catalysts for positive change.
