The project "Different and Unique: shaping our collective strength through unicity" was born with the aim of creating a space for dialogue about the different opportunities for women and men to participate in democratic and political life, involving 25 young people - 20 participants and 5 group leaders - from different cultural backgrounds. The project involves participants from Italy, Spain, Slovenia, Lithuania and Ukraine. The specific objectives that the project aims to achieve are the following: -A path of analysis and reflection that will lead participants to explore and tell the existing policies and good practices in the field of equal participation of women and men in political life. This objective is achieved through the organization of an International Exchange involving 20 participants and 5 group leaders from 5 European countries. -An exploration and knowledge of positive and inspiring models, women and men who have had a significant impact in promoting democratic and political life in each of the nations involved, deepening their interventions and public speeches. The stories of these role models will be disseminated internationally through the publication of podcasts telling their lives and their actions in defense of democracy. - Strengthening the network between young people and political decision-makers, encouraging dialogue and greater participation of young people in democratic life. This objective is achieved by organizing local working tables, organized in spaces made available by local municipalities, involving young people and political decision-makers and aimed at creating a local recommendation to encourage the participation of young women in local political life. - The exchange of good practices between the 5 project partner organizations, to provide concrete tools that allow young people to promote equality in their daily and professional contexts.
