Our project aims to combat the social pressures and unrealistic beauty standards imposed by the media, helping young people develop a more positive and conscious view of themselves and their bodies. Using non-formal education methods, we aim to create a safe space where participants can explore and discuss the challenges related to body image, analyzing how stereotypes and media portrayals influence self-perception. The project fosters intercultural dialogue, encouraging participants from different countries to exchange ideas and experiences on how different cultures address issues related to body image and beauty. The main objectives include: -Developing critical awareness regarding the influence of media and social networks on body image perception. -Promoting acceptance of physical and cultural diversity, teaching young people to value their uniqueness and resist standardized beauty stereotypes. -Improving self-esteem and psychological well-being, by providing tools to address anxieties related to physical appearance and build a positive self-image. -Encouraging social inclusion, by creating an environment where young people from different cultural backgrounds can exchange ideas and collaborate, learning to respect and appreciate diversity. -Developing transversal skills, such as critical thinking, intercultural communication, and the ability to express oneself authentically without fear of judgment.
