Objectives

Our project aims to achieve a series of concrete objectives in the field of youth work, with the intention of contributing to the personal and social development of the young people involved. First and foremost, we want to promote a healthy and active lifestyle, encouraging young people to participate in sports and outdoor physical activities, thereby improving their physical and mental health. This will help combat sedentary lifestyles and the health issues associated with them, such as obesity and mental health disorders, especially in rural areas or places with limited access to sports facilities. Moreover, the project aims to foster intercultural cooperation and social inclusion by offering young people the opportunity to interact with peers from different countries and cultures. Group activities such as team sports and outdoor challenges will help develop social, communication, and collaboration skills, promoting intercultural understanding and respect for diversity. Another important aspect is supporting resilience and emotional management, where we will teach young people how to cope with failure, develop a positive mindset, and learn from their mistakes. This approach will help improve their mental health, strengthening emotional resilience and addressing the increasing psychological challenges such as anxiety and depression. An additional objective is to promote gender equality, overcoming barriers that still limit female participation in sports and physical activities. We will ensure that all young people, regardless of their gender, can participate freely, reducing gender stereotypes and fostering an environment of equal opportunities. Furthermore, the project aims to bridge the gap between young people from urban and rural areas by offering opportunities to those from disadvantaged backgrounds, ensuring equal participation and growth opportunities. This will help reduce inequalities and increase the motivation and social inclusion of young people in these areas. Also fundamental is the development of key competencies for the future, such as leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and teamwork—skills that are essential for the future professional and personal growth of the participants. These skills will enhance their employability and initiative. Lastly, the project provides the opportunity to build an international network of young people, allowing them to connect with peers from different countries, enriching their cultural experiences and creating potential future opportunities for European mobility and professional collaborations.
