2024 was the year during which many elections took place. Many European countries had to face some unfortunate results, which has brought feelings of uncertainty and fear. Politics influence everything, from the finances allocated to the non-formal sector, to the national environment and inclusion strategies, the youth development policies. They also affect the mental state of the youth workers who have to calculate their future steps, while keeping a brave face for the young people they work with. All of these things combined contributed to the demotivation of youth workers. The 5 partner organisations: Global Circle - Italy, Eco Challenge - Romania, La Libelula: - Spain, Fundacja 108 - Poland and Center ‘Health, Art, Sport, Tourism, Education’ - Albania decided to write this project for several reasons: - increasing the motivation of our teams - finding new methods that can boost motivation - help our youth become more eager to take part in activities - overcome the negative effect of political changes - feel more like a team again Our project objectives, targeting the 25 participants, which will be achieved by the end of the 10 project months, are: 1. To help the participants increase their knowledge about motivation by learning about motivational theories and stress management and goals achievement techniques . 2. To equip youth workers with at least 3 non-formal educational methods that have the power of raising their own level of motivation, and the motivation of the young people they collaborate with. *In the timetable, we included non-formal methods on raising motivation (Wheel of life, I am great because) and we expect the participants to discover new methods during the NFE methods fair. 3. To help youth workers become more self-confident, less stressed and more eager to continue implementing activities for young people, translating into an increase of activities implemented locally. *We expect to have at least 25% more activities in each local community by May 2026, compared to May 2025.
