The project aims to strengthen the role of youth work in rural areas by fostering international collaboration and capacity building among organizations working in these contexts. By bringing together youth workers and organizations from different European rural regions, the project seeks to create a space for exchange and reflection on how Erasmus+ can be leveraged to tackle depopulation, limited access to opportunities, and social disengagement among young people. A core objective is to equip youth workers with strategies to enhance youth participation in local development, demonstrating through the Study Visit how community-driven initiatives can foster educational and professional opportunities for young people without requiring them to leave their hometowns. The project also aims to empower rural youth by increasing their awareness of mobility and learning opportunities under Erasmus+, bridging the gap between local realities and European programs. Furthermore, the project intends to create a lasting impact by establishing a specialized network of organizations committed to youth engagement in rural areas. This network will serve as a foundation for future collaborations, ensuring that the best practices and methodologies identified during the project continue to inspire and support initiatives aimed at making rural areas more attractive and livable for young generations.
