“VOICE” project aims to provide opportunities for young people to be actively engaged in civil society and meaningfully participate in democratic, social, cultural and political life through art. Through the project we value art and music as an essential form of freedom of expression and a fundamental European value and right. “VOICE” aims to promote European citizenship and identity through encouraging young people to express their civic rights using creativity. As a result, young people will themselves create innovative ways for citizenship education and the cultural sector will benefit from enriching its social value. The project provides personal and professional development paths for the participants, young artists, and public events that promote various art forms, particularly music and songwriting as the tools to stimulate active citizenship.
